Project overview.

Client: Boultbee Brooks

Project: Windsor House

Location: Harrogate

In the heart of Windsor House, the once grand foyer of an iconic hotel built in 1900 has been sympathetically transformed into a contemporary co-working space with a cafe. Stepping inside, you are immediately enveloped by a luxurious ambiance that feels both opulent and calming. The café’s design seamlessly marries function with aesthetics, creating a space where visitors and professionals can unwind and collaborate.

The design in detail.

At the center of the cafe stands the focal olive tree, its sprawling branches adorned with festoon lighting, casting a gentle glow over the entire space. This majestic tree, surrounded by lush greenery, becomes a living testament to the café’s commitment to blending nature with luxury. This tree, a symbol of peace and prosperity, adds a touch of nature, making the café a serene oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of office life.

For seating, the café offers a variety of options tailored to the needs of its patrons. The banquette seating, with its plush cushions, is ideal for larger groups, fostering collaboration. Intimate booths provide privacy for those looking for a quiet moment or a discreet conversation. Traditional tables are interspersed throughout, offering flexibility for both solo workers and teams. And for those who prefer a more relaxed setting, the soft seating area, adorned with comfortable couches and chairs, beckons.
